Pink Patch Project 2025
Saint Paul Fire Department – Pink Patch Project 2025
Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Cancer is the leading cause of occupational death for firefighters. Studies show that firefighters face an increased risk of developing all types of cancer—including breast cancer. One San Francisco study revealed that female firefighters were diagnosed with breast cancer at six times the national average.
This October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the SPFD Cancer Task Force is proud to participate in the Pink Patch Project to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
Join Us!
SPFD will be participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at the Mall of America on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
